AUS vs PAK Memes: The Pakistan team was trolled mercilessly on social media for their abject fielding display against Australia on Friday in Bangalore.
The Pakistani players dropped as many as 3 catches – two of David Warner and one of Steve Smith – including one by skipper Babar Azam.
Warner made Pakistan pay a massive price for dropping his catches and he cracked a thunderous century. And so did his opening partner, Mitchell Marsh.
Warner was only on 10 runs when Usama Mir dropped his catch at mid-on. Warner top-edged his pull off Shaheen Afridi’s short ball in the 5th over of the match. Some Pakistanis might have even started celebrating prematurely as Mir settled under the ball. However, he spilled a simple catch.
After Warner had completed his century, he gave another opportunity to Pakistan, but this time Abdullah Shafique dropped a tough chance at deep mid-wicket, and to make matters worse for him, the ball went for a four. Warner notched up his 150 soon.
Pakistani fans were left even more infuriated when captain Babar Azam dropped Steve Smith’s catch at first slip, though Smith soon got out and didn’t trouble the bowlers much.
These dropped catches, and some more poor ground fielding, from Pakistan led to their heavy trolling on Twitter by Indian fans as fans came up with hilarious AUS vs PAK Memes.

At the time of writing, Australia’s score is 319/3 with David Warner batting on 163* in 123 balls. Warner would be looking to attack more now and could become the first Australian men’s batter to hit a double century in ODIs.
