Virat Kohli

Batting maestro Virat Kohli added another feather to his already glorious hat as he dons the whites for the 100th time today as the Indian side takes on Sri Lanka in the ongoing first Test match in Mohali.

Virat became only the 12th Indian cricketer to play 100 Test matches. The Delhi-born cricketer, who made his debut with a match against West Indies in Jamaica, only a few months after he played an instrumental role in helping Team India win the 2011 World Cup, is playing his 100th Test match against Dimuth Karunaratne-led Sri Lanka National Cricket Team at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali, Chandigarh. It is indeed a historic day in Indian cricket.

Ahead of the game, Virat was felicitated by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on the special occasion. Team India players and support staff members honored the star cricketer for his incredible achievement. Virat, who has given his heart and soul to the format, was presented with a special 100th Test match cap by Indian head coach Rahul Dravid.

Meanwhile, social media has been buzzing with amazing posts and tributes for the former captain for many days now. Several cricketers, experts, commentators, celebrities, have penned down heartfelt posts for the cricketer on his incredible journey.
