Barmy Army Tried To Troll Team India But Got Back From The Indian Fans

While there are still a few hours left for the much-awaited 5-match Test series between India and England to take place, however, the war of words between the fans of India and England has already begun. Ahead of the series opener today, England’s Barmy Army has taken a dig at Virat Kohli and Co and the Indian fans have given it back to them equally well.

Well, ahead of the series opener, the Barmy Army via their official Twitter handle shared one of the latest pictures of Virat Kohli, where he can be seen posing with KL Rahul, Ishant Sharma, and a few others, giving a serious look.

Taking cognizance of the star-studded picture,  the social media handle of the Barmy Army tried to take a dig at the Indian skipper on Twitter.

Mocking the Indian skipper and his teammates, Barmy Army wrote: “NEW MUSIC: Worried in Nottingham by Kohli’s Boys. Worried in Nottingham,”

Well, the tweet didn’t go down well with the Indians, who started who were quick to hit back at Barmy Army over the cheeky post about the Indian cricket team. While there were many who reminded Barmy Army about Kohli’s batting heroics in England, on the other hand, many gave special mention to all-rounder Ben Stokes, who pulled out of the India Test series to focus on his mental health.
