A hilarious took place during the match after Sydney Thunder all-rounder Ben Cutting suffered a brain-fade moment on-field, which lead to a hilarious series of events that followed.
Well, the game was reduced only to 16 overs after a rain stoppage. The hilarious incident took place during the 16th over of the game when Thunder bowler Nathan McAndrew bowled a no-ball in the fourth delivery of the final over, which was smashed by Dan Christian for a boundary. Ben Cutting forgot that it was a free-hit, therefore, he flung the ball in the air to celebrate the catch. However, he soon realized his mistake and quickly ran towards the ball but he couldn’t stop Christian and Jordan Silk from running a double.
After completing the second run, both Silk and Christian were seen bursting into laughter, while Ben Cutting looked dejected on the same. The video of the hilarious incident has been going viral on social media and has left everyone in splits.
