Cricket fans around the world just can’t stop rejoicing as the biggest cricket festival — the ICC Men’s Cricket ODI World Cup 2023 is just around the corner, beginning October 5th, 2023. The upcoming edition of the ODI World Cup 2023 will be hosted by India and all of the games will take place in different parts of the country.

This is for the first time that India is hosting an ODI World Cup independently. The last time India hosted ODI World Cup in 2011, Sri Lanka was the co-host of that tournament.

However, according to the latest reports floating around on social media, the BCCI wants to give the responsibility of ticket distribution to the BookMyShow application.

Meanwhile, the ICC (International Cricket Council) and the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) recently announced that the sales of tickets will start as early as August 25th. Fans can start registering their interests to get ticket details first and to secure a position at the Cricket World Cup. The sale of tickets will be held in phases.

Tickets for the high-voltage clash between India and Pakistan can be booked from September 3. The tickets for all the non-India games and non-India warm-up matches will go on sale on August 25th.
