CCTV Footage Of Rishabh Pant’s Car Accident

Indian keeper-batter Rishabh Pant met with a terrible accident near Uttarakhand’s Roorkee early on Friday morning and suffered injuries. Pant’s car collided with the road divider and caught fire near Hammadpur Jhal, near the Narsan boundary of Roorkee near the Delhi-Dehradun highway. Pant was on his way to his hometown Roorkee from Delhi when the accident occurred. 

As per a statement issued by the state government, Pant’s car met with an accident near Mohammadpur Jat under the Mangalore police station area in Haridwar district around 5.30 am. After being initially admitted to a private hospital in Roorkee, Pant has been transferred to a Dehradun hospital. 

According to Uttarakhand Police Director General Ashok Kumar, he broke the windscreen to get out of the burning car. As a result of the collision, he has head, knee, and shin injuries. 

Talking to the media, Medical Superintendent at Max Hospital, Dehradun, Dr. Ashish Yagnik gave an update about Rishabh Pant’s health. He revealed that in the first x-ray they didn’t find any serious injuries on the cricketer and he is now stable. He said: “He is under evaluation and a team of doctors is attending to him. Only after some tests can we tell more. As of now, he is stable and there is not much to worry about,” 

He added: “A team of doctors is talking to him and based on what he is telling us about the injuries, he is getting evaluated. Prima facie, we did not find any serious injuries. Orthopaedic and plastic surgeons are attending him,” 

Meanwhile, in one of the videos making rounds on social media, Rishabh can be seen covered in blood and can be seen being helped by the locals, while his car can be seen in the background engulfed in fire. In another video, he can be seen lying on the ground without clothes.
