The news of Shoaib Malik marrying actress Sana Javed, despite the cricketer not yet announcing his divorce with Sania Mirza, stunned the fans. Sania Mirza’s father, Imran Mirza, has given his first reaction to the events that have unfolded.
The former Pakistan captain announced on Saturday morning that he and Sana Javed, a renowned model and actress, have tied the knot.
Shoaib Malik took to his social media handles on Saturday morning to reveal his marriage with Sana Javed, sharing a couple of pictures from the event.

Barely anybody had anticipated this news, though there had been rumors of strife between Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza over the past couple of years. But their pictures with their son, who was born in 2018, had a cooling effect on such rumors.

Sania Mirza’s father reacts to Shoaib Malik getting married to Sana Javed
Imran Mirza, the father of Indian tennis star Sania Mirza, has given a brief reaction to his former son-in-law getting married. Imran told PTI “It was a ‘khula” – this refers to the right of a Muslim woman to unilaterally divorce her.
Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza got married in 2010, only 5 days after Malik divorced his first wife, Ayesha Siddiqui.
Also, on Wednesday, Sania Mirza shared a cryptic post about marriages and divorces on her Instagram story.
