India and Pakistan has its own share of problems and hence bilateral cricketing ties between the two neighbours remain suspended. But then the fact shall always remain immortal that we are two nations born out of one. Yes, there’s a lot of alienation between the two nations and Pakistan has been really offensive to India.

But let’s just keep these political and diplomatic situations aside for a while and let us take you to a beautiful dream. What if India and Pakistan were not two different nations but one? What would the dream cricket team seem like then?

If Kapil Dev and Imran Nazir were to play for the same team, If Mohammad Amir and Kohli were to play for the same team, wouldn’t we just be invincible in the game of cricket.

Let’s assume that India and Pakistan weren’t two nations but one. Let us then form a Dream XI of all times with Indian and Pakistani cricketers parlaying for the same nation. Here’s what the perfect team would seem like then. This assumption is purely for the love of cricket and the dominance this team would have created in international cricket if it was to be for real.

1. Openers

For this dream team we would settle for nothing less than explosive openers. Rohit Sharma and Virendra Sehwag would be the perfect opening pair for this dream XI.

Who could best MS Dhoni to be a better wicket keeper batsman for this team? MS Dhoni is the obvious answer when you look for a wicket keeper batsman to any dream team for limited overs cricket.

4. All Rounders

Kapil Dev (Captain)

Just imagine the sort of impact these all Rounders playing for the same team would have added to the team. This combination looks formidable.
