CPL Fantasy Cricket Tips: Semi-Final 2, Guyana Amazon Warriors Vs St Lucia Zouks

Both Guyana Amazon Warriors and St Lucia Zouks won 6 games out of 10 in the group stages of CPL 2020. While it has been a very decent campaign for both teams, there have been patches in the tournament where they have played poorly as well and they will have to make sure they don’t take the foot off the gas tonight.

Pitch Report
Since it will be the second game of the day, the surface might wear down a tad and might spin more as compared to the first game. Also since it’s a big game, batting first and putting runs on the board might be the way to go as chasing, at times, might get trickier under pressure. The captain winning the toss might want to bat first.
Predicted XI of both teams
Guyana Amazon Warriors
Brandon King, Chanderpaul Hemraj, Shimron Hetmyer, Ross Taylor, Nicholas Pooran, Sherfane Rutherford, Chris Green (C), Keemo Paul, Imran Tahir, Romario Shepherd and Naveen-ul-Haq
St Lucia Zouks
Rakheem Cornwall, Andre Fletcher, Mark Deyal, Najibullah Zadran, Mohammad Nabi, Darren Sammy (C), Scott Kuggeleijn, Roston Chase, Javelle Glen, Zahir Khan and Kesrick Williams
Top Picks

Nicholas Pooran and Shimron Hetmyer are two of the most impressive young batsmen going around the world at the moment and not just in the CPL and they should be the first two names to get into your fantasy XI, both on the basis of ability and form.
Javelle Glen and Mark Deyal are the two St Lucia cricketers who are relatively unknown, but they come at a low budget in the fantasy and both are very skillful. While Deyal is a top order bat and has timed the ball sweetly in the last couple of games, Glen is an all-rounder who bats lower down as a finisher and bowls very handy leg spin.

Rahkeem Cornwall has got better and better with the bat as the tournament has progressed and although he is not contributing too much with his off spin bowling yet, he is capable of turning the game upside down with the bat itself.
Mohammad Nabi and Naveen ul Haq are the two Afghan players who are really very tricky with the ball. Although they don’t have too many variations in their repertoire, Nabi’s accuracy and Naveen’s unconventional bowling action make it really difficult for the batsmen to pick the length of the ball.
Captaincy pick: Shimron Hetmyer
Vice-captaincy pick: Naveen ul Haq
Fantasy XI: Nicholas Pooran, Shimron Hetmyer (C), Brandon King, Javelle Glen, Mark Deyal, Mohammad Nabi, Roston Chase, Rahkeem Cornwall, Naveen ul Haq (VC), Kesrick Williams, Scott Kuggeleijn
