The Motera Stadium, Ahmedabad, which is all set to host the third Test of the ongoing 4-match Test series between India and England, has become the talk of the town lately. For the unversed, Motera Stadium is the largest cricket stadium in the world and it will host the final two Test matches.
The first two games were held in Chennai, while England emerged victorious in the opening game of the series, the hosts made a strong comeback in the second match.
Recently, India’s star all-rounder Hardik Pandya shared a glimpse of the stunning stadium. In his tweet, he shared a selfie with the Motera Stadium in the background. Sharing the picture, he wrote:
“It feels surreal to be out here at the world’s largest cricket stadium, Motera. Absolutely magnificent,”

England’s star all-rounder Ben Stokes also took to his twitter and revealed how he was left in awe of the beautiful stadium. He wrote:

Talking about the stadium, with a seating capacity of 1,10,000, which is more than the Melbourne Cricket Ground, the Motera Stadium had undergone extensive renovation. The stadium is spread in an area of 63 acres, also has 6 indoor pitches with bowling machines. Besides this, the stadium also has outdoor practice pitches and 63 acres, also has 6 indoor pitches with bowling machines, and two practice grounds with a small pavilion area.
