k to lead the Indian cricket team in crisis in their first match of the T20 World Cup 2021 against Pakistan. Virat Kohli scored his fourth T20 half-century against Pakistan to help his team take the target to 151 runs.
As the game kickstarted at the Dubai International Stadium, the Indian cricket team got off to the worst possible start after being invited to bat first as Shaheen Shah Afridi dismissed both the openers with just six runs on the board.
The Indian skipper walked out to bat at number 3 after the dismissal of Rohit Sharma. Kohli tried to form a partnership with KL Rahul, however, to everyone’s dismay, Rahul became the next target of Shaheen Afridi. Soon, Suryakumar Yadav, who came out to bat at number 4 was also sent back to the pavilion.
While the wickets kept falling at one end, Virat Kohli kept fighting like a lone warrior at the other end. Virat, who was going through a tough phase with the bat, played a crucial performance and scored 57 runs off 49 balls, smashing 5 fours and 1 six.
Meanwhile, by the time, Virat Kohli was dismissed, social media was already flooded with reactions from the netizens. From Bollywood celebrities, cricketers to fans, everyone took to their Twitter to appreciate the crucial knock played by the Indian skipper. There were many who came up with heartfelt tributes and posts for King Kohli.

Talking about the ongoing clash, India put up a total of 151/7 in 20 overs. It would be interesting to see whether India is able to make a comeback with the ball and is able to defend their winning streak of 13-0 against Pakistan.
