Cricketers Who Lost Their Loved Ones During The Match Or An Important Tournament: When a person takes up sports as a profession, he puts everything on the line. From missing exams to staying away from their family, the passion for games helps a professional to see a perspective of life through the glass of failure and success. However, the passion can’t be compared with losing loved ones in one’s life.
There have been times when players end up losing their loved ones when away from their families, fulfilling their commitments with the sporting teams.
Recently, Baroda-based cricketer, Vishnu Solanki has shown the same passion for the game. Vishnu Solanki lost his daughter a day after she was born. During the game against Chandigarh, he lost his father but the cricketer didn’t leave his team Baroda & watched the final rites of his father on a video call in one corner of the dressing room. Solanki also went on to score a terrific hundred for his side in a match against Chandigarh.
