CSK Have Found Deepak Chahar’s Replacement For IPL 2022

Chennai Super Kings camp suffered a major blow ahead of the upcoming 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League after its expensive signing Deepak Chahar got injured during the third T20i against West Indies last month. Chahar pulled up his hamstring in his run-up to bowl during the match and had to be taken off-field.

 

Following the injury, Chahar was ruled of the Sri Lanka series and he is now all-set to miss a major part of the IPL 15. Infact, if reports are to be believed then the right arm pacer may not participate in the entire tournament.

Chahar is currently rehabilitating for his injury at the NCA, Bengaluru, and a status report of his availability will come out anytime soon. Now, in the absence of Deepak Chahar, CSK will be looking forward to a replacement who could possibly lead their pace bowling attack.

Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has already kickstarted their preparations for the upcoming IPL season in Surat.  The Dhoni-led team has roped in the services of CSK was seen working with their pace battery. Simarjit Singh and Mukesh Chaudhary, who will be seen donning the yellow jersey for CSK.

For the unversed. Simarjit Singh and Mukesh Chaudhary are eagerly waiting for the tournament to kickstart. Both are known as fast bowlers and as well as pacers. Both the players had a base price of 20 lakhs in the auction.

 

Simarjeet and Mukesh were bought by Chennai Super Kings at their base price of 20-20 Lakhs respectfully. In the absence of Deepak Chahar in the team, the Dhoni-led team might looking forward to trying new options.
