CSK Shared A Post Praising Virat Kohli And Ravi Shastri As Team India Struggle In WTC Final 2023: The Rohit Sharma-led Indian cricket team came into the 2023 World Test Championship (WTC) Final with a lot of hope, as they aimed to win the coveted mace and end their long wait of 10 years to win an ICC trophy.

However, things didn’t go as planned as Australian batters dominated on the first day of the game. Steve Smith (95*) and Travis Head (146*) dominated the proceedings on Day 1 of the WTC Final against India helping Australia post 327/3 at stumps. The duo revived Australia 76/3 and stitched an unbroken 251-run fourth wicket stand to put their side on top.

As the match appeared to go out of the Indian hands, fans were critical of both the captain Rohit Sharma and head-coach Rahul Dravid. The Indian bowlers looked helpless against the rampant Australian batting unit, which made several experts and former cricketers question the team management’s tactics and preparation for the big game.

Moreover, the decision to leave out R Ashwin, who is ICC’s top-ranked bowler, in these conditions against the team he has a stellar record against, didn’t go down well with many.

Meanwhile, India’s disappointing performance also made fans remember the legacy of former captain Kohli and head coach Shastri as under their guidance team India dominated over every team.

What caught everyone’s attention was how a fan’s post was strangely retweeted by Chennai Super Kings. In the post, the fan shared a compilation of some great moments during the Kohli-Shastri era at the helm of Indian cricket. The video was titled: “Test Cricket Under Virat Kohli & Ravi Shastri”.

However, when Chennai Super Kings realized their mistake, they deleted it from their timeline but it was too late as fans were quick to notice it.
