David Warner And Jonny Bairstow Write Beautiful Notes For SRH Fans

Australia’s star player David Warner and England opener Jonny Bairstow, who have been an integral part of the SunrRisers Hyderabad squad, penned down emotional notes for their fans as they big them adieu to the team and their fans ahead of the IPL 2022 retention deadline.

As the franchises are all set to announce the name of their retained players, SunRisers Hyderabad took to their social media and shared a heartfelt post and said it’s not a farewell message. SRH also said some of the players in the team photo will be back at the franchise for IPL 2022. Sharing the post, SRH wrote:

“We thank the players for their contribution to SRH over the years. This is not a goodbye, as we hope to welcome back some Risers in the auction,”

The image soon went viral and was flooded with reactions from the fans. SRH cricketers David Warner and Jonny Bairstow also joined the bandwagon and came up with heart-touching posts.

David Warner thanked the fans and franchise for their support over the years as he hinted he will not be back at SunRisers Hyderabad. He wrote:

“Thanks to all of you for your support over the years, up and downs, my family and I can’t stress enough how much we appreciated the love and passion you showed towards us and the team. Candice and I truely wish all the fans the very best for the future and hope who ever you wish to support the best. Love the Warner’s,”

Jonny Bairstow also thanked fans for the support during his stint with SRH. He wrote:

“Thank you all for your support! Hopefully at some point our paths cross again in the future,”

Meanwhile, it still remains to be seen if SRH will retain the likes of Kane Williamson and Rashid Khan as the IPL 2022 retentions will be announced tonight.
