David Warner was well accompanied by his opener Mitchell Marsh as the duo together put on a masterclass in power-hitting against Pakistan as the five-time champions posted a daunting total of 367-9 on the scoreboard.

Warner looked good and he was playing very cautiously initially, however, he wouldn’t have completed his century if he wasn’t dropped early in the innings. Spinner Usama Mir dropped a dolly in the 5th over of the game when David was batting at a score of 10.

But after getting a lifeline, David Warner looked even more dominating as he smashed the Pakistani bowlers all around the park. He took just 39 balls to reach the half-century mark in the game. Warner completed his century off 85 balls as he took a single off Mohammad Nawaz’s delivery in the 31st over.

He was eventually dismissed after playing a sensational knock of 163 runs off 124 balls. His powerful knock was laced with 14 fours and 9 sixes. While Warner played a blistering knock of 163 off 124 balls, on the other hand, Marsh walked off with a career-best 121 as the pair combined for 24 boundaries and 18 sixes.
