Former skipper of Sunrisers Hyderabad, David Warner has been going through a tough phase with the SRH management deciding to drop him. David Warner’s fall from grace has become one of the most discussed topics among the cricket fraternity.
From winning the trophy for his team in 2016 to helping them qualify for playoffs the following seasons, Warner has played a crucial role in the success of his team. David Warner was sacked from captaincy in the first phase of IPL 2021 after SRH had one of their worst starts to an IPL season. Not just this, as the UAE leg resumed, Warner only featured in the first two games for SRH but aggregated just 2 runs. He was then dropped from the squad with Jason Roy taking his place in the team.
Lately, reports of David Warner shown the exit door by the franchise owners have been surfacing all over social media for a while now. Recently, it was reported that the Australian opener wasn’t even allowed to travel with the franchise to the stadiums for matches.
After being left in the team hotel for the second consecutive time, David Warner seemed to have taken a dig at the team management. Warner took to his Instagram story and posted a cryptic message amidst all the SRH ouster.
In his Instagram story, he shared a quote in his Instagram story that read: “It’s not about who is real to you face. It’s about who stays real behind your back.”
