Sunrisers Hyderabad was knocked out in Qualifier 2 and their journey in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League came to an end in a heartbreaking way. Though, the SRH squad will be heartbroken right now, however, one of the key players of the squad will be on cloud 9 right now. Well, we are talking about the young and talented T Natarajan, who got his maiden call up from the India national team for the upcoming tour to Australia.
T Natarajan’s maiden call came after Varun Chakravarthy was ruled out of the upcoming Australia tour after the latter suffered a shoulder injury. Natarajan impressed one and all with his brilliant performances throughout IPL 2020 and as a result, he was called in as the replacement of Varun Chakravarthy.
In fact his brilliant performances impressed his SRH skipper David Warner as well, who labelled him as ‘find of the season. Natarajan’s heroics for SRH this season didn’t go unnoticed by the BCCI selectors. Natarajan picked 16 wickets with an impressive economy of 8.02.
Meanwhile, the cricketer has been receiving congratulatory messages from all corners. Among many, he has got the biggest cheer from his SRH’s skipper David Warner.
Well, in the latest video uploaded by Sunrisers Hyderabad on their Twitter handle, David Warner congratulated Natarajan. In the video, Warner thanked his fans and all the support staff. However, Warner didn’t forget to miss his SRH’s teammate Natarajan, whom he will face in the upcoming tour to Australia. He said:
“Congratulations Nattu! I will see you n Australia,”
