Delhi boy Mohit Ahlawat becomes the first batsman to score 300 runs in a T20 match

Scoring a triple hundred in Test cricket is every batsman’s dream but a young boy from Delhi named Mohit Ahlawat has stunned the world by scoring a triple ton in a T20 match. Though the match doesn’t have an official record keeping, since it was only a local match, the scoresheet of his innings was posted on social networking website Twitter. Cricket statistician Umang Pabari shared the screenshot of the scoresheet on Twitter his Twitter account.

In his blistering knock, Mohit Ahlawat smashed 39 sixes and 14 boundaries. Mohit Ahlawat scored fifty runs in the last two over. He smashed 5 sixes in the last over to reach the milestone. In total, Mohit Ahlawat’s side scored a massive 416 at the end of 20 overs.

The highest knock in professional T20 cricket is Chris Gayle’s 175-run marathon knock in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the previous highest score in T20 cricket at any level in T20 cricket overall was by a Sri Lankan player named Dhaka Pathirana, who scored 277 off 72 balls.
