Did Virat Kohli Take A Dig At Rohit Sharma’s Fitness?

India star Virat Kohli and other players are on a one-month break between the WTC Final 2023 and the tour of the West Indies next month, starting July 12.

It is not cricket, but Virat Kohli is keeping himself busy with his gym and body training, sweating it out in the gym, and strengthening his body to keep himself fit on the field and perform well for his country.

On Monday, Kohli posted a series of photos and videos of his training in the gym where he can be seen doing lunges and lifting weights among the other activities he did in his training session. As usual, fans thronged to like and comment under his post, hailing his elite athletic level fitness standards.

However, it was his caption that caught the eye of the fans, who were left wondering whether Kohli was taking a swipe at the fitness of Rohit Sharma.

Now, Sharma is certainly not as fit as Virat – it can be seen easily and there is no debate in it – and the India captain also rarely posts pictures of his gym session compared to the frequency at which Kohli posts it.

It was Kohli’s caption that stirred up this topic. “Look for excuses or look to get better,” the former India skipper captioned his post.

Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma to be again “rested” from WI T20Is

Meanwhile, it has been learned that the selectors have decided to once again rest senior players Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma from T20Is. India will tour West Indies for 2 Tests, 3 ODIs, and 5 T20Is. Rohit and Kohli have not played a T20I since last year’s T20 WC, and Hardik Pandya has been leading the side. He is likely to continue captaining India in T20Is in West Indies.
