FACT CHECK: Yuvraj Singh Set To Become The Head Coach Of Gujarat Titans In IPL 2025: The preparation for the next season of the IPL has already started. There will be some major changes in IPL 2025. The mega auction is approaching soon and many changes have been made already. Ricky Ponting has left his position as the Head Coach of the Delhi Capitals and Gautam Gambhir has left his position as the mentor of KKR and became the Head Coach of the Indian Cricket Team.
Captain Hardik Pandya left Gujarat Titans for Mumbai Indians last season. Now, recent reports say that the Head Coach, Ashish Nehra, and the director of cricket, Vikran Solanki will also leave the franchise ahead of the IPL 2025 season. In the three seasons under Nehra, Gujarat Titans won the IPL once and qualified for the final in another.
Mentor and batting coach, Gary Kirsten, has already left the team to become the Head Coach of the Pakistan Cricket Team. Now, the reports also add that the team has approached, the former Indian all-rounder, Yuvraj Singh, to take over as the Head Coach. However, they haven’t finalised the move yet.

Nehra and Singh have played together in the Indian Cricket Team for a long time and also won the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2011 together. They are very good friends off the field as well. Moreover, Yuvraj serves as the mentor to GT captain, Shubman Gill.
Yuvraj Singh has mentored many young cricketers like Gill and Abhishek Sharma. However, he is yet to feature a the Head Coach of any team. On the other hand, Nehram became the first Indian Head Coach to win an IPL title. Chandrakant Pandit of KKR became the second one to win the IPL in 2024.
