India’s Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara has once again managed to hog all the limelight due to his poor form. He has found himself at the receiving end of criticism after he failed to perform, yet again, on the opening day of the 4th Test match at The Oval, London.

Famous Scientist Anand Ranganathan Trolled Cheteshwar Pujara

Cheteshwar Pujara, who gave a stunning performance on day 3 of the 3rd Test match at the Headingley, failed to contribute much with his bat yesterday. On day 3 of the 3rd Test match, Pujara had missed his 19th Test century with a few runs as he was dismissed by Ollie Robinson and went without adding to his overnight score of 91.

He was expected to play a big role in the 4th Test as well, however, he was back in his poor form and was dismissed for 4 runs off 31 balls.

Meanwhile, a popular scientist Anand Ranganathan’s Tweet about Pujara has been going viral on the internet. In his Tweet, while Anand took a dig at Cheteshwar Pujara, for his poor batting performance. Anand compared what Pujara promised and what he delivered in a hilarious way.

India was reduced to 191 all out:

The Indian side was asked to bat first after losing the toss on the opening day of the 4th Test match and their batting order collapsed once again. Chris Woakes and Ollie Robinson kept the Indian batsmen on their toes throughout their innings.

Indian opener Rohit Sharma (11) and KL Rahul (17) failed to give a rocking start to the game as they were dismissed early. India’s number 3 Cheteshwar Pujara was back again into his terrible form as he was dismissed for 4 runs off 31 balls, while Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was promoted to no. 5 position above Ajinkya Rahane and Rishabh Pant, however, he couldn’t contribute much with the bat as he was dismissed after scoring only 10 runs.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli looked confident as he scored a brilliant half-century with 8 fours to his name, however, he missed his 71st Test century again after a jaffa from Robinson sent him back to the pavilion. Ajinkya Rahane and Rishabh Pant were expected to rescue the team from this turmoil but they failed as well.

But to everyone’s surprise, Shardul Thakur stole the show with his stunning batting performance as he scored a quickfire 50 to take the Indian total an inch higher. England is currently 53 for 3 after reducing India to 191 all out.
