Fans In Chepauk Paid Tribute To MS Dhoni’s Mom On Mother’s Day

MS Dhoni is one of the greatest cricketers to have ever played the game. He is believed to be playing his last season of the Indian Premier League and therefore, the fans are enjoying every bit of it. Fans are turning up in huge numbers wherever Dhoni is playing in the ongoing 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League.

As Chennai was playing at their home ground in Chepauk against Kolkata Knight Riders, Yellow was once again dominating the stadium. There was hardly any green, purple, or gold. It was yellow and one of the major reasons behind the sea of yellow this time is MS Dhoni.

A Fan Paid Tribute To MS Dhoni’s Mother

From carrying posters to chanting the name of Thala throughout the game, fans are leaving no stone unturned to make the ongoing season even more special for the legendary captain. During the game against KKR, several posters and placards went viral on the internet, where the fans had written heartwarming messages for their idol – Dhoni.

However, one of the fans was carrying a beautiful poster, where he thanked the mother of Dhoni, Mrs. Devaki Dhoni, for giving a legend like him to the country. The message in the poster read: “Thank U Devaki Ji. You Gave Us MSD. Happy Mother’s Day”

Earlier, in the day, batting maestro Virat Kohli also took to his social media and shared a heartwarming message for his mother Saroj Kohli, wife Anushka Sharma, and mother-in-law, Ashima Sharma, and wished them a happy Mother’s Day.

One of the pictures is from his childhood days, while the second picture is from some function in which he can be seen with his mother and Anushka Sharma sharing the frame with her mother Ashima. In the third picture, Kohli’s mother can be seen enjoying herself with his mother-in-law. Sharing the pictures, Kohli wrote:

“Happy Mother’s Day @AnushkaSharma”.
