Fans Are Trolling Suresh Raina After His Disappointing Performance Against MI: One of the much-awaited matches of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League has been going on between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium. The match was being hailed as the EL-Clasico of the IPL and as expected the game is turning into a thriller one.

After being put to bat first, Chennai Super Kings made the worst possible start as they lost Ruturaj Gaikwad early in the game, however, Faf du Plessis and Moeen Ali joined hands and took the game forward with their amazing partnership.

The dup stitched a century partnership, both of them scoring half-centuries, however, they got out in quick succession all thanks to Jasprit Bumrah and vintage Kieron Pollard striking from the opposition. Following their dismissals, fans had all their hopes on the Chinna Thala of Chennai Super Kings — Suresh Raina.

Suresh Raina, who has time and again came to rescue CSK with his batting heroics, couldn’t give the best of his abilities and failed to fulfill the expectations of the fans. Raina got out the very next ball after Du Plessis’ dismissal to Pollard. It was a poor shot selection from Raina as he tried to clear the mid-wicket boundary and instead the ball found Krunal Pandya, who took an easy catch. Raina walked back to the pavilion with the score of only 2 runs off 4 balls.

Meanwhile, fans on social media were left disappointed with the poor performance by Suresh Raina and started trolling him left, right and center. There were many who blamed team management for not letting Raina bat at the number 3 position. Several fans came up with hilarious memes and jokes while trolling Chinna Thala of CSK.

Here, check out the reactions of Twitterati on this:

#SureshRaina has been a liability for #CSK since 2018, I wonder why no one can’t see that he’s finished..plays in the most reckless and irresponsible way..no responsibility at all…should retired himself and help #CSK #MIvsCSK

It’s very sad to say This, csk might retain deepak chahar in place of suresh Raina.
But csk will go for him in the auction, will try to pick him

@ChennaiIPL suresh raina should focus on their batting style..

— dutt (@Ankit14264781) May 1, 2021

Why is suresh raina so irrelevant at 34?

If you want to understand the phrase “Brainless cricket” just watch Suresh Raina’s dismissal!

Is this the turning point? #CSKvMI
