Fans Attacked Ravindra Jadeja On His Latest Tweet

KL Rahul’s scintillating century and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja’s two consecutive fifties were the biggest highlights of the three-day warm-up game between Indians and the Select County XI, that ended in a draw. While the fans were all praises for Ravindra Jadeja for his brilliant performance, however, the cricketer is now getting badly trolled for his latest tweet.

Well, in utter defiance of the backlash that his CSK teammate Suresh Raina has been facing for his recent statement where he called himself a Brahmin, Ravindra Jadeja has polarised fans further with his tweet. Jadeja’s tweet came at a time when his teammate Suresh Raina was already facing the heat from the fans for his ‘I am also a Brahmin’ comment. The fans believe that caste and religion should be kept away from the game.

Earlier, in an interview, Suresh Raina had said that it was easy for him to adapt to Chennai culture as he is also a Brahmin. The same triggered the fans on social media, who started trolling him left, right and center.

Meanwhile, the same seems to have attracted Jadeja’s attention as well, who in utter defiance, took to his Twitter and called himself a ‘proud Rajput boy.’ He wrote:

“#RAJPUTBOY FOREVER. Jai Hind”

This isn’t the first time that Jadeja has done something like this. Infact, he has never backed down from calling himself a Rajput and the same had created controversy back in April 2020, where he was slammed for bringing caste into the game.
