As the Indian cricket team is currently locking its horns with England in the ongoing third and final ODI match, the fans were once again left disappointed after the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli was dismissed without scoring a century.
Though Virat was seen in a terrific form in the 5-match T20I series between India and England, his search for the dreaded 71st century seems to have no end. Infact, in the second ODI match, Virat played an incredible knock and had crossed the half-century with utmost ease, however, Kohli was once again dismissed by Adil Rashid after scoring 66 runs.
In the 3rd ODI, after the Indian openers, Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan got the men in blue off to a great start with a 103-run stand, Jos Buttler (stand-in skipper) introduced spinners in the attack. Virat walked in to bat at number 3.
As the fans were desperately waiting for Kohli to hit his 71st century, Moeen Ali shattered all the hopes and dismissed Kohli on 7.

The dismissal took place in the 18th over of India’s innings, when Moeen Ali knocked over Virat’s leg-stump, as it turned outrageously from the off-stump at good length and Virat wanted to play it on the off-field. Following this, Virat was left confused.
Meanwhile, as soon as Kohli was dismissed, social media was flooded with reactions from the fans on this. From hilarious memes to jokes, fans are trolling Kohli left, right, and center as his wait for the century continues.
