In the 18th over, Green smashed T Natarajan for three fours in a row, which was followed by a six. With his third four of the over through deep point, Green reached the fifty mark. However, he failed to collect a single four in the last two overs of MI’s innings. He remained unbeaten on 64 runs, playing a knock of 40 balls, which was laced with 6 fours and 2 sixes.
He was initially involved in a partnership of 46 runs with Ishan Kishan, who scored 38 off 31 before getting dismissed by Marco Jansen.
