RCB vs DC: Impact Player List Of Both The Teams

RCB vs DC: Royal Challengers Bangalore is hosting Delhi Capitals at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in match number 21 of the ongoing 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League. The Bangalore side has won only one of their three games, while the Delhi side is yet to open their win account as they have suffered back-to-back four defeats.

Bangalore’s batting has been amazing with the opening pair of Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis scoring most of the runs. Glenn Maxwell has also bounced back into the form. However, the other batters haven’t been able to contribute much with the bat and their death bowling has become a grave concern for them.

On the other hand, Delhi Capitals have suffered a horrible start to the season losing all four games. Warner is the only batter who has scored runs consistently, however, his strike rate has become a talking point. Axar Patel has continued his good all-around form and will be crucial in the game against RCB. DC desperately needs a victory and they will be hopeful of getting it here in the RCB vs DC match.

Meanwhile, ahead of RCB vs DC match, DC skipper David Warner won the toss & opted to bowl first. David Warner wasn’t bothered after losing 4 matches on the bounce & was quite positive about making a comeback. He said:

“We are going to bowl first. The ground looks incredible, credit to the staff here. It’s about getting one win, the momentum follows from there. We don’t want to lose wickets in the powerplay. We have change. Mitchell Marsh comes in for Rovman Powell,”

RCB captain Faf du Plessis too wanted to bowl first. Faf pointed out that he along with Virat Kohli once again will have to give a good start to the innings. He said:

Would have done the same. Hopefully it will turn in the second innings. This stays a good wicket generally. Will be important for me and Virat to assess the conditions early. It’s difficult to defend in death overs. We have been good at our home ground as a batting unit. You got to pick your best batters and bowlers. Wanindu Hasaranga comes in for David Willey,”
