Fans Heap Praise On Angkrish Raghuvanshi After A Half Century In Debut IPL Inning – The match between Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders took place in Vizag during an IPL 2024 game. KKR won the toss and decided to bat first. KKR had an impressive start, scoring an incredible 272 runs in just 20 overs. Sunil Narine put on a brilliant display, scoring 85 runs off just 39 balls. Angkrish Raghuvanshi had a great performance, scoring 54 runs off 27 balls, while Andre Russell also contributed with 41 runs off 19 balls. Rinku Singh once again proved his worth in the closing moments, scoring an impressive 26 runs off just 8 balls.

Angkrish Raghuvanshi was sensational in his debut innings in the IPL. He did not waste any time with Narine going all guns blazing at the other end. He played some of the most breathtaking shots all over the ground.

He batted with a strike rate of 200 with 5 fours and 3 sixes. The youngster showed his class all throughout the innings and gave the fans a glimpse of why he is being rated so highly in the IPL. He earnt his debut in the IPL in the previous game against RCB in Bengaluru. However, he did not get the chance to bat. However, in Vizag he showed why he is one of the future prospects for India in international cricket. He registered his name as the second youngest batter to score a half century for KKR after Shubman Gill.

He has trained under Abhishek Nayar in Mumbai and plays for Mumbai in domestic cricket. He is not just a gun batter but can also contribute as a left-arm spinner. He was sensational for India in the 2022 U-19 World Cup and helped India win the World Cup with 278 runs in the tournament. He is one of the most talented youngster in Indian circuit and definitely has a bright future ahead of him.
