Continuing with their Day 3 form, team India made a stunning comeback in the game. Though Australia started the day brilliantly as Marcus Harris and David Warner smashed the Indian bowlers from the word go. However, the inexperienced Indian bowling attack surpassed the star players of Australia.
Shardul Thakur gave the much-needed breakthrough to the Indian cricket team and started Australia’s collapse. Thakur sent Marcus Harris back to the pavilion for 38.

Washington Sundar also repeated his day 3 heroics by picking the wicket of dangerous David Warner, who was looking in great touch. The young cricketer has dismissed both the star batsmen — Steve Smith and David Warner in his debut match.
Although, team India was able to pick two quick wickets, however, a special moment was yet to come. India’s sensational bowler Mohammed Siraj showed his mettle by dismissing Marnus Labuschagne and Matthew Wade in the same over. While Siraj got Marnus Lauschagne to edge one to slip on the other hand, Wade went back after he was traped down leg stump, without even opening his account.
HIGH FIVE!

Siraj struck once again and he was able to get rid of Steve Smith, who had already completed his half-century. Siraj dismissed Smith on 55 runs, he was caught out by the stand-in skipper Ajinkya Rahane. Shardul Thakur also showed his brilliance once again by picking the wicket of Cameron Green on 37.
Meanwhile, social media was flooded with reactions from the fans on it. Several cricketers and experts also joined the bandwagon with the fans and are lauding the performance of the Indian bowlers and for keeping the hopes alive. There were many who came up with hilarious memes and jokes while praising the performance of bowlers.

India have a very good chance now.#AUSvIND— Hammad (@chemistryhammad) January 18, 2021
Siraj has been the biggest positive through the series, lots of times he has been unlucky but still bowling with big heart – nice to see him getting reward with the wicket of Labuschagne.
