KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal were the two notable absentees in the Virat Kohli-led side, while Shardul Thakur also couldn’t make the cut in the bowler’s line-up. Ever since then, there has been a debate going on in the cricket fraternity regarding the bowling line-up.

The last time when Bumrah-Ishant-Shami played together for India in a Test match – India lost by 10 wickets (v NZ, Wellington, 2020).

Good luck #TeamIndia @BCCI for this mega #WTCFinal
This team deserves to be there.
Great that Pujara Rahane Ashwin who have given their all for tests get a go to be crowned champions. Gen next in Pant & Gill is also ready. Big chance for Cap @imVkohli to get @ICC trophy home. https://t.co/ut6loiLrtU

Keeping Ishant instead of Siraj is most probably an emotional decision, “Ishant toh retire hone wala hai usko khila lete hai”….
