The ongoing Pakistan Super League witnessed a scary moment after South Africa’s star batsman Faf du Plessis collided with one of his teammates during fielding.
The incident took place during a match between Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi in the ongoing tournament at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Saturday. Faf, who is representing the Quetta Gladiators in the tournament, made a diving attempt at the boundary line during which his head collided with the leg of his teammate Mohammad Hasnain. Both the cricketers converged from long-off and long-on respectively to stop a boundary off David Miller.

After the collision, Du Plessis was then attended by Gladiators physio and he walked towards the dugout after receiving some medical help. As per Pakistan’s media reports, Faf has been shifted to a hospital for further scans. Saim Ayub was named as the concussion substitute for du Plessis.
