Royal Challengers Bangalore posted a total of 189/9 on the scoreboard for Rajasthan Royals. To everyone’s dismal Dinesh Karthik once again failed to make an impact with the bat in hand. DK once again left his fans disappointed as he was dismissed after scoring just 16 runs off 13 balls.
Dinesh Karthik, who had a terrific time last year playing for RCB, had emerged as one of the most successful finishers in IPL 2022, scoring 330 runs in 16 matches with a strike rate of 183.33. Riding on his amazing performances in IPL 2023, he made a surprising entry into India’s t20I squad and was even included in the T20 World Cup 2022 squad. However, he failed to leave a mark on his performance and was eventually dropped from the semi-final against England.
Dinesh Karthik Is Having A Forgetful Season
He is now struggling to score in the ongoing 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League. On Sunday, in a game against Rajasthan Royals, DK once again failed to make it big.
DK walked out to bat when RCB was reeling at 156-4 in 15 overs after both Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell were back into the dug-out after smashing blistering half-centuries.
