Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Kolkata knight Riders (KKR) faced off against each other in the match number 10 of IPL 2024 in Bengaluru. Shreyas Iyer won the toss and elected to field first on a slow pitch. Virat Kohli came up clutch and scored 83 off 59 balls carrying on his form from the last game against Punjab Kings. Cameron Green scored 33 runs off 21 balls, while Dinesh Karthik provided the finishing touches and scored 20 runs off 8 balls. The RCB batters failed to get going on a slow and dry wicket. KKR bowlers used the slower balls into the wicket to the best of their advantage. RCB batters struggled for timing but still managed to score 182 runs in their 20 overs.

KKR openers with the likes of Phil Salt and Sunil Narine came up with all guns blazing, Salt scored 30 runs off 20 balls, while Sunil Narine scored 47 runs off 22 balls. KKR rushed to 86 runs in just 6.3 overs. Venkatesh Iyer scored 50 runs off 30 balls, while captain Shreyas Iyer carried KKR over the finishing line with a score of 39 runs off 24 balls. KKR managed to beat RCB by 7 wickets and register two victories in the two matches they have played.

Fans Troll RCB After They Become The First Team To Lose At Home In IPL 2024

KKR becomes the first team to win away from home so far in the 10 matches in IPL 2024. They have also extended the winning streak in Bengaluru. They have not lost against RCB in Bengaluru since 2015. The target of 182 looked good at one stage given the slowness in the pitch. However, KKR batters proved everyone wrong in the first six overs itself. Sunil Narine smashed the RCB bowlers in the powerplay and made the job easier for KKR. At the end of the day, KKR registered a dominating win over RCB today. Fans on social media reacted to the win and trolled RCB after their defeat against KKR.
