Here’s Why Fans Trolled Hardik Pandya After Asif Ali Finished The Game For Pakistan: Pakistan cricket team is on a roll lately as they completed a hat-trick of wins in the ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 after defeating Afghanistan by five wickets in the match last night in Dubai.

Chasing a target of 148 for victory, the Pakistan cricket team rode on swashbuckling knocks from captain Babar Azam, Asif Ali, and Fakhar Zaman to cross the finish line with an over to spare. Babar Azam once again anchored the team as he played a captain’s knock and scored 54 runs off 47 runs. While his opening partner Mohammad Rizwan suffered a rare failure.

Though, Afghanistan’s star all-rounder Rashid Khan almost brought Afghanistan back into the game with his amazing spell of 2/26, dismissing Mohammad Hafeez and then Babar.

As the game was nearing the end, the crowd was chanting “Rashid Rashid”, however, to everyone’s disbelief Asif Ali smoked four sixes in an over and took his side home. Asif Ali shattered all the hopes of Afghanistan as he smashed 25 not out with 4 sixes in just 7 balls with 4 sixes to calm the nerves in Pakistan’s dressing room.

However, as soon as Asif Ali’s fireworks against Afghanistan helped his side win the third match in a row, social media was already flooded with netizens praising the performance of Asif Ali. While everyone was praising the performance of Asif, a section of people started trolling Hardik Pandya.

Hardik Pandya, who was included in India’s T20 World Cup squad to solve their problems, however, he has failed to do so. He hasn’t bowled a single delivery in recent times and has failed to leave a mark with his batting as well. Therefore, when fans saw the stunning finishing performance of Asif Ali, fans went nostalgic and started remembering how Hardik was hitting the ball like Asif.

“Asif Ali what a hitter, what a finisher. This is what we expect from Hardik Pandya” tweeted a fan, while another one posted “Asif Ali is the guy Pandya once was”
