The 35-year-old Virat Kohli has achieved great things in his international career of 15 years so far. Among his biggest records, two came last year during the World Cup, where he became the first batsman to hit 50 ODI centuries and the first to cross 700 runs in a single World Cup tournament.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli is currently on a break to be with his wife Anushka Sharma and newborn son, Akaay.

3 Reasons Why Virat Kohli Will Not Miss IPL 2024

Akaay was born on February 15th. For that, Kohli had to skip the 5-Test series against England at home. This is the first time in his entire career that he will have missed a full Test series.

Virat Kohli is expected to return in the IPL 2024 season. The IPl 2024 will get underway on March 22 with CSK, the defending champions, hosting Faf du Plessis’ RCB. Last season, RCB failed to qualify for the playoffs, despite Kohli having another great season with the bat as the bowlers floundered while defending a couple of big totals.
