Kohli has chosen to withdraw from the current five-match Test series against England in order to be with Anushka. His most recent cricket action was in the three-match T20I series against Afghanistan.
Before that, Kohli’s last Test appearance was against South Africa, where he emerged as India’s leading run-scorer in two matches. Currently, there is no available information regarding his return to cricket.
However, there are expectations for Kohli to represent the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season. Despite RCB not clinching a title in the league thus far, Kohli has consistently been their standout performer over the years. He holds the record for the most runs scored in a single season of the tournament.
It’s noteworthy that Kohli stands as the only cricketer in IPL history to have represented a single franchise since the inception of the competition in 2008, showcasing his loyalty and commitment to RCB throughout his IPL career.
