Find Out Why Naveen-ul-Haq Did Fingers In Ears Celebration vs MI

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) seamer Naveen-ul-Haq continues to taunt the Virat Kohli and RCB fans, and now perhaps has made himself a villain for Rohit Sharma and Mumbai Indians’ fans too, after his celebratory gesture in the Eliminator on Wednesday in Chennai.

Naveen-ul-Haq got rid of MI captain and opener Rohit Sharma early in the game. Naveen was pumped with this big wicket of Rohit. After taking the wicket, he celebrated with a gesture of fingers in the ears.

Here is Naveen-ul-Haq’s celebration after dismissing Rohit Sharma:

Why did Naveen-ul-Haq did that gesture after taking Rohit Sharma’s wicket?

Naveen-ul-Haq

With this fingers-in-ears gesture, Naveen-ul-Haq perhaps hinted to the RCB fans that he was blocking the outside noise and the trolling away from himself.

At the start of this month, Naveen-ul-Haq and Virat Kohli had a big tussle in Lucknow. That on-field drama then carried on social media as well with both Kohli and Naveen posting Instagram stories during LSG and RCB’s matches. Fans have gotten heavily involved in this too.

So over the past three weeks, wherever Naveen or LSG have played – be it Kolkata, Hyderabad, or even in Lucknow – there have been chants of “Kohli Kohli” by the crowd to taunt and tease the LSG seamer.

On social media fans were even rotting for RCB to reach the playoffs, not just because of their love for Kohli, but also to see another chapter in the LSG vs RCB saga and to see Kohli face off against Naveen and Gautam Gambhir again.
