Tonight is the qualifiers round of playoffs between the two leading teams of IPL, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhade Stadium of Mumbai. Both the teams have given consistently exceptional performance throughout the tournament, while SRH emerged out to be the defending champions , on the other hand, CSK has taken over the tournament with their exceptional batting skills.

The match is a very crucial one, while the winner of the first qualifier will reach the finals, the team loosing the match will get another chance as they will face the winner of the eliminators.
Before the match started, the Sunrisers were invited to bat first as the toss was won by the skipper of CSK, MS Dhoni, who chose to bowl first.

The first innings started with a bad note for the Sunrisers as the star batsman of the team, Shikhar Dhawan was sent back to pavilion on the first ball itself with zero runs. Soon, the other opener, Shreevats Goswami too made his way back to pavilion after a few balls.
The skipper of the team, Kane Williamson scored 24 off 15 balls and was given out after the ball went straight into the hands of MS Dhoni. Yusuf Pathan played a slow innings tonight and scored 24 off 29 runs.
Carlos Brathwaite smashed a few thrilling shots and scored 43 runs off 29 balls, hitting 4 sixes and 1 fours.

The players of Chennai Super Kings were on fire tonight, they didn’t spare any free runs to the players of Sunrisers Hyderabad. They didn’t let the players of Sunrisers score a huge total and restricted them to 139 runs.
