There were severe criticism against the team and also concern were raised against the unity of the players in the team. Head Coach, Gary Kirsten, boldly claimed that he has not see a such a disrupted dressing room in any team. He alleged that the players were creating lobbies against each other. He also submitted a report to the PCB where he stated that fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has misbehaved badly with the coaching staff.

However, PCB is yet to take any action against it and the team manager also did not take any action against him at that moment. However, PTI reports that both coaches Gary Kirsten (white-ball formats) and Jason Gillespie (Tests) has asked the PCB to not take any action against the players concerned and let them concentrate on the upcoming matches.
“But the PCB hasn’t formed any disciplinary committee,” the source stated. Mohsin Naqvi had an interaction with Jason Gillespie, Gary Kirsten, and selectors Mohammad Yousuf and Asad Shafiq. It was decided in the meeting that they let the players concentrate on the upcoming matches.
