VIDEO: Gautam Gambhir Celebrates Aggressively After LSG’s Thrilling Win Against RCB

On Monday, April 10th, 2023, in the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, the Lucknow Super Giants defeated the Royal Challengers Bangalore in an intense Indian Premier League match.

The game’s outcome swung wildly back and forth before Lucknow ultimately prevailed in the final over by a single wicket. The visitors’ chase of 213 got started to a terrible start. LSG was reduced to 23 for 3 after RCB’s pacers wreaked havoc with the new ball.

Then, Marcus Stoinis smashed 65 runs off 30 balls, reviving his team’s pursuit, and he and KL Rahul put on 76 runs for the fourth wicket. Both batsmen were dismissed in short succession as RCB regained control of the game, bringing LSG’s score down to 105 for 5 from 99 for 3.

Nick Pooran hit the fastest fifty of the season to put his team ahead just before RCB could further tighten their grip on the game. His fifty came off only 15 balls, leaving the team needing only 28 runs in the final four overs. But RCB wasn’t finished yet.

The last batsman to be dismissed was Ayush Badoni, who was bowled by Wayne Parnell in the 19th over after Mohammed Siraj had returned to the attack to dismiss Pooran for 62. Finally, LSG required five runs in the final over. Harshal Patel played exceptionally well by taking out Mark Wood and Jaydev Unadkat while only allowing four runs off of the first five balls he faced.

Avesh Khan was unable to make touch with the ball during Harshal’s penultimate over, thus he bowled a dot. Dinesh Karthik dropped the ball while trying to catch it, and by the time he did, Avesh and Ravi Bishnoi had crossed the plate for a single, giving their team a surprising victory.
