Gautam Gambhir Hailed Rinku Singh With A Special Tweet: Lucknow Super Giants pulled off a win last night, probably their most crucial win this season, as they sealed a spot for themselves in the IPL 2023 playoffs. LSG defeated Kolkata Knight Riders in the thriller by just one run at Eden Gardens. While it was a big day for LSG, but all that people could talk about was one man, who stole the show with his batting heroics and he is none other than Rinku Singh.

Rinku Singh has been the biggest star of the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League. In 14 games for Kolkata Knight Riders, Rinku has smashed 474 runs with 4 half-centuries at a stunning strike rate of 149.53. However, 305 of those runs came while chasing and at a strike rate of 153.50. Not just this, all his half-century knocks have come in a chasing cause.

On Saturday, Rinku Singh pulled off another stellar knock. Batting under pressure with wickets falling at the other end, Rinku played an unbeaten knock of 67 runs off just 33 balls. With 18 runs off the last three balls, Rinku managed a six and followed it up with a four and a six, however, KKR fell short by one run to give Lucknow Super Giants an assured place in the playoffs.

After the game, Gautam Gambhir met Rinku and had a word with him. Pictures and videos of the same have been making rounds on the internet. The picture was also shared on Twitter by Gambhir, where he hailed the KKR star.

In his Tweet, Gambhir hailed Rinku Singh as a ‘sensational talent’. He wrote: “What an effort by Rinku today! Sensational talent!”

Not just Gambhir but both the skippers were also full of praise for the amazing talent that Rinku is and for what he has done throughout the season.

“Feels like all 14 matches, I’ve spoken about Rinku. I am personally very happy for him (Rinku) and I don’t really have words to describe about him because the entire world has seen what he can do on a cricket field,” said KKR captain Nitish Rana when asked to pick the positives from the season.

Rinku has been special this year, every game when he’s there you can’t take it easy. Today he showed it again, but it is a high pressure situation while bowling death overs to execute our plans,”  LSG skipper Krunal Pandya said.
