IPL 2023: Gujarat Titans Innovative Style Of Preparation Will Impress Roger Federer

On March 31, the Gujarat Titans will begin defending their Indian Premier League (IPL) crown against the four-time defending champions, the Chennai Super Kings. The management of the Gujarat team was spotted employing a novel training session format on Friday, March 24 ahead of their IPL 2023 campaign.

The Gujarat franchise thought it would be a good idea to come up with a tennis racquet to help their batters get used to the quick action. Sai Sudarshan, a batter with the Gujarat Titans, was caught engaging in the novel exercise in the nets. The winning team of the IPL 2022 also posted a video of a particularly inventive practise session to Instagram.

I only got in one practise session all of last year, but I swear I was getting struck in the helmet with nearly every single pitch. Sudarshan was heard adding, “But this time it was lot better compared to previous year.”

Gujarat Titans said on Twitter, “#NowPlaying When Tennis meets Cricket!”

In a short amount of time, the post received over a hundred thousand likes on Instagram. Several cricket followers have wished Gujarat Titans well in IPL 2023 and praised the team’s novel approach to training.

The previous time the Gujarat Titans played in the IPL, they were captained by Hardik Pandya and got off to a perfect start. Last time around, Gujarat Titans made it all the way to the championship game thanks to a fantastic performance in the league stage.

Last season, they were 10-4 in league play. They defeated the Rajasthan Royals, who had previously won the IPL in 2008, by seven wickets in the final match to claim the title. Pandya, their captain, finished the IPL 2022 season as the team’s top run scorer with 487. Mohammed Shami, an Indian speed bowler, shone in the previous season of the Indian Premier League by taking 20 wickets.

At the IPL 2023 auction, the Gujarat Titans spent a whopping Rs 6 crore on fast bowler Shivam Mavi. The 24-year-old quickly became Gujarat’s priciest acquisition for the upcoming IPL 2023 campaign. Joshua Little, Kane Williamson, and Odean Smith were all signed to help with their foreign operations. The management of the Gujarat Titans squad has acquired not only Mavi, Little, Williamson, and Smith, but also KS Bharat, Urvil Patel, and Mohit Sharma.
