Harbhajan Gives A Hilarious Response On Sreesanth-Gambhir Fight

When asked about the fight between his former teammates, Sreesanth and Gautam Gambhir, off-spinner Harbhajan Singh gave a hilarious response with a dialogue of Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan.

Sreesanth and Gambhir had a heated altercation during their match in the Legends League Cricket (LLC) tournament. Then, the fast bowler took to social media to rant against Gambhir.

Sreesanth posted two Insta videos talking about the incident with Gambhir. The fast bowler went on Insta Live to allege that Gambhir called him a “fixer” and used the F-word. Later the same evening, he ranted in a huge paragraph under Gambhir’s latest Instagram picture, starting with a sentence saying that Gambhir “exceeded the boundaries of a sportsman and a brother”.

Harbhajan Singh captained the Manipal Tigers to the title of the LLC 2023/24 season this Sunday.

In the press conference, he was asked about the tussle between Sreesanth and Gautam Gambhir.

Harbhajan responded: “Bade baad shehro mein chhoti chhoti baatein hoti rehti hain(in big cities, small things keep happening).”

This funny response from Bhajji eked out smiles in the press conference. Harbhajan was also pointed to his infamous ‘Slapgate’ incident back in the 2008 IPL when he slammed Sreesanth after their match.

The off-spinner said that the incident was of way past and admitted it was his fault.

“That is an incident of the past. Let’s not bring that up. What happened then was not right, and I don’t have any hesitation in saying that the fault was mine. I don’t know what happened this time (between Sreesanth and Gambhir). LLC has offered good cricket this year, and it would be better to stick to that only,” he said.

Sreesanth given a legal notice by LLC commissioner

The LLC commissioner has reportedly served the fast bowler a legal notice for breach of contract.“We are underway the process as per the Contractual obligations of players and as per the Code of Conduct policy of the league,” says Raman Raheja, co-owner and CEO, Legends League Cricket.
