Harbhajan Singh Shared A Hilarious Message For Pak PM Imran Khan

Harbhajan Singh and Mohammed Amit broke the internet recently after they were indulged in a heated exchange of words on social media platforms following the conclusion of the India-Pakistan clash in the Super 12 round of the T20 World Cup 2021. The Babar Azam-led side outplayed India and won the game by 10 wickets, ending India’s 12-match unbeaten streak with the historic win.

Following India’s defeat, Shoaib Akhtar was seen pulling Harbhajan’s legs by trolling him over India’s defeat. However, the situation took an ugly turn after Mohammed Amir jumped in and tried to insult Harbhajan.

Harbhajan, not someone to back down, replied in the same manner before lashing out at the cricketer for his involvement in the infamous spot-fixing scandal in the 2010 Lord’s Test.

Later after the Twitter battle, Bhajji, in a YouTube video, talked about the Twitter battle with Mohammad Amir and what went wrong between the two. Not just this, Bhajji also shared a message for Pakistan Prime Minister and former captain Imran Khan. He said:

“I would request Imran Khan to open a school for such children where they can learn how to speak to senior cricketers. In our country, we are taught manners. Even today, we talk with cricketers like Wasim Akram with a lot of respect. And people like him (Amir) don’t know what to talk with whom. I should not have reacted to the comments of a person who sold his country,”

Further, Harbhajan Singh explained the banter and how it actually started. Bhajji expressed how he and Shoaib Akhtar share a different bond and thus the banter between both of them was different as they have an understanding. He also slammed Mohammad Amir for poking his nose in the friendly banter between him and Akhtar. He said:

“The banter between me and Shoaib is different as we know each other for a very long time having played plenty of cricket together. We have also done many shows together. We have an understanding. Who is Mohammad Amir? Is he the same guy who was guilty of match-fixing at Lord’s? What is his credibility? He would have barely played 10 matches for his country and he betrayed his country as well by accepting money to fix a match,”

Talking about the ongoing T20 World Cup, the Pakistan cricket team completed a hat-trick of wins in the ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 after defeating Afghanistan by five wickets in the match last night in Dubai.

On the other hand, the Indian cricket team will be locking their horns with New Zealand and they will be desperate to get back to winning ways after suffering a humiliating defeat at the hands of Pakistan.
