Indian star all-rounder Hardik Pandya wrote an emotional tweet for his brother Krunal Pandya who stole the show in the 1st ODI against England, which was also his debut match for team India.

It was a big day for the Pandya brothers as the younger brother, Hardik Pandya got the pleasure of handing over the maiden ODI cap to Krunal Pandya. Upon receiving the ODI cap from his brother, Krunal appeared emotional as he looked up in the sky to remember his late father. The cricketer was later consoled by Hardik Pandya as the two geared up for a thriller.

Later, Krunal got the opportunity to showcase his skills in front of the world and he made sure to make full use of the opportunity. He walked out to bat at number 7 and played a stunning knock of 58 runs (off 31 balls), where he smashed 7 fours and 2 sixes. After he scored his half-century, an emotional moment took place as Krunal pointed bat towards the sky as a mark of respect to his late father.

Later, after the match, Krunal couldn’t hold back his emotions and broke down during the interview, where he dedicated his performance to his late father. “This one is for my dad. It was very emotional.” he had said.

Soon after team India thrashed England by 66 runs in the 1st ODI, Hardik Pandya took to his Twitter and penned down a heart-touching message for his brother Krunal. In his tweet, Hardik expressed how he is proud of his brother. He also wrote that their father has sent an early birthday present for Krunal.  Further, Hardik also dedicated the win to their father. He wrote:

Here, check out the Tweet:

Papa would be proud. He’s smiling down on you bhai and sent an early birthday gift for you. You deserve the world and more. I couldn’t be happier for you bhai. This one is for you Papa ❤ @krunalpandya24 pic.twitter.com/xxn9wfF689
