Hardik Pandya’s stepbrother, Vaibhav Pandya, has been arrested by the Mumbai Police for reportedly cheating them out of about Rs 4.3 crore. Vaibhav is believed to have redirected approximately Rs 4.3 crore from the joint business, resulting in a financial setback for Hardik Pandya and his brother Krunal.
Hardik Pandya’s Step-Brother Vaibhav Pandya Cheated Him Of Rs 4.3 Crore, Arrested

In 2021, the trio established a business together, with an arrangement where the two cricketers were to receive 40% of the profits each, while Vaibhav was to receive 20%.
Instead of distributing the profits as agreed, Vaibhav, the lesser-known Pandya, created another company and funneled the funds from the business into it. Officials from the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Mumbai police have charged Vaibhav with cheating and forgery. The arrest came after Hardik filed a complaint against the 37-year-old.
Unfortunately, Hardik Pandya has been facing backlash from fans due to the decision to replace Rohit Sharma as captain of the Mumbai Indians. Such leadership changes can often stir emotions among fans, especially when it involves popular players like Rohit Sharma. Hopefully, fans can understand that these decisions are made with the team’s best interests in mind and support Hardik as he takes on his new role.
It sounds like Hardik Pandya’s journey as captain for the Mumbai Indians began with some challenges, with the team losing their first three matches. However, they managed to secure a much-needed win against the Delhi Capitals, which surely brought relief to Hardik and the team. Before this crucial victory, Hardik acknowledged the need to clear doubts from the minds of both players and fans. This win marked their first points on the league standings for this campaign, providing a positive turn in their season.
It’s commendable that Hardik Pandya openly acknowledged the efforts put in behind the scenes by the team in the dressing room to achieve their first win of the campaign.
“It was a lot of hard work,” Hardik said after the match. “We cleared a lot of minds, made sure our plans are right, the intent is right, and today was one of the days where everything clicked. There has been a lot of love and care going around. Everyone knows we lost three games, but the belief and attitude of backing each other was there, which has been fantastic. We needed just one win, and today is just the start.”
