And as the due date of Anushka is in January, Virat might miss out on a couple of tests.

“At the selection committee meeting held on October 26th, 2020, Mr Virat Kohli had informed the BCCI about his plans to return to India after the first Test in Adelaide. Popular commentator and analyst, Harsha Bhogle also took to his Twitter and reacted to the news. In his tweet, Harsha wrote how there’s more to a cricketer’s life more than his profession. However, he also feels that the tour has got tougher for team India in the absence of Virat Kohli. Harsha wrote:

“Well, well…this is huge news. Kohli to return after the 1st test in Australia to be there for the birth of his child. For the modern player, there is more to life than just his profession. But for the Indian team, the tour just got tougher.”

The tweet soon went viral and was flooded with reactions on the tweet. While many came out to support the decision of Virat, there were many who were disappointed with the decision of the Indian captain.

Here, check out the reactions of Twitterati on this:

Remember MSD didn’t return on the birth of Ziva because he was in the midst of India’s World Cup 2015 campaign down under.
Jusy a memory. Nothing to do with Virat as such, everybody should respect Virats choice and he deserves it.

Then why even bother to go for one test. Better skip the entire series and let Rohit lead if he is fit.

Nothing imp than national duty, yet again Kohli proved he is not a leader

So disappointing, dhoni didn’t go home for his baby, sachin come back for the team in spite of father’s loss. Even I heard kohli also came next morning after his father’s death in a ranji game for delhi. Nothing to say about the personal life but i am not happy by this decision.

K L Rahul will do good as captain.

Not judging anyone just an observation. A person who played for his team the day after his father passed away is ready to leave his his when he is the captain to be with his wife during delivery.

Don’t know what to say. MSD continued with his duties in WC 2015 in Australia as he doesn’t want to get distracted from his job. Didn’t expect this from Kohli though. In this world of technology you can have a video call. In that case, let him withdraw from tests on a whole

Oh common sir this.. Wasn’t excpted from you.. He is the same who continued playing for his team when his father was passed away..what would you do if you were in the same situation.. She is his responsibility and has every right to take care of her
