Here Is Why Indian Cricketers Are Wearing This Badge On Their Jerseys

“We are only as safe as our army men are sleepless at the borders and they never let us down” No one can understand patriotism and display selflessness better than armed personals in India.

Out armed forces are one of our largest prides and our cricket army decided to exhibit a little gesture for the armed forces. Today when the third test began at the Feroz Shah Kotla, team India was seen wearing a badge of the armed forces flag since it’s the Armed Forces Flag Week going on.
The players were seen donning the badges in the honour of the Indian army just below the BCCI logo and this news was confirmed by the BCCI itself.

It was a great gesture by team India and this little gesture that means so much is being heartwarmingly applauded by not just cricket fans but anyone who respects and love the Indian armed forces for their unparalleled national duty and valour of theirs.
The Armed Forces Flag week is observed each year to raise funds for the welfare of the Indian Armed Forces Personnel. December 7 is observed as the Armed Forces Flag Day annually starting from 1949.
About the match India won the toss and Kohli decided to bat first. While Virat Kohli smashed his third consecutive ton at Kotla, Murali Vijay too hit his second successive century and India is by all means in the driving seat.
