Here’s How Virat Kohli’s RCB Can Meet Gautam Gambhir’s LSG In Final Of IPL 2023: The competition for the remaining 3 playoffs spot is getting stiffer with each passing day. With only 4 days of the league phase remaining, only 1 team – Gujarat Titans – have qualified for the playoffs while two teams – Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad – have been eliminated. 7 teams are still in contention for 3 spots in the top 4 and four teams in contention for the remaining one spot in the top 2.

Virat Kohli‘s Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is one side that can finish not only in the top 4, but also top 2 given other results also go their way.

But, for Faf du Plessis and co, getting into the next round, that is the playoffs, will be on their minds. They face Sunrisers Hyderabad on Thursday in a crucial encounter. Not a must-win game, but still crucial for them to have their destiny in their own hands.

Here is how the points table look after Match 64 on May 17:

IPL 2023 points table

RCB fans are excited for their remaining two matches and hope that they win both their games and qualify for the playoffs. RCB are likely to qualify for playoffs at 16 points because of their healthy NRR, which is considerably better than the Mumbai Indians.

Fans around the country are also wishing for RCB to qualify and have a match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). There was a big issue between RCB star Virat Kohli and LSG’s mentor Gautam Gambhir and pacer Naveen-ul-Haq when the two teams met last time in Lucknow.

Since then, fans are wondering how much the tension and the competition will be intense if RCB and LSG have another game this season, most likely in the Eliminator. For that, RCB and LSG will have to finish in the 3rd and 4th place.

So can Virat Kohli’s RCB and Gautam Gambhir’s LSG meet again in IPL 2023:

In Elimonator:

If LSG win their game, they go on 17 points, and CSK also win their last game and go to 17 points but CSK have a better NRR. RCB win their remaining two matches, and move to the 4th spot, MI either don’t win their last game, or be behind on NRR than RCB even if they win. This way LSG will finish 3rd and RCB 4th and both will meet in Eliminator.

RCB and LSG can also reach the Final of IPL 2023. Here’s how:

Yes, if LSG finish 2nd and RCB 4th; then LSG win the Qualifier 1 and RCB win the Eliminator and Qualifier 2 – then both teams will meet in the epic Finale, setting up for incredible scenes on the field and off the field with fans going crazy over the prospect of Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir facing off in the final.

Interestingly, there is a chance that both don’t meet in the playoffs and straightaway face off in the final of IPL 2023!
